Magnetic separation
At the heart of our platform lies our bead and separator technology. MAGic™ Beads and MAGic™ SPRI are our proprietary superparamagnetic bead technologies. The unique construction of our magnetic resin allows for high magnetization and low magnetic remanence. These unique characteristics enable large scale processing and rapid resuspension of the beads. The magnetic beads also offer a high degree of customizability and can be tailored to the specific processing needs enabling a large variety of applications.
Our separator systems, MAGic™ Accio, are a series of magnetic separators, optimized for the use with our MAGic™ Beads and MAGic™ SPRI, ideal for a large variety of separation applications. MAGic™ Accio has been optimized for the easy and efficient capture of magnetic resins from crude sample mixtures at any scale. Our separator system is based on a permanent magnet design allowing efficient scale up of the system compared to electromagnetic systems which are restricting the scale up. Our platform ensures rapid, gentle and effective magnetic separation with a small footprint.
MAGic™ Beads

The unique construction of our magnetic resin allows for high magnetization and zero magnetic remanence. These unique characteristics enable large scale processing and rapid resuspension of the beads. The magnetic beads also offer a high degree of customizability and can be tailored to the specific processing needs enabling a large variety of applications, including monoclonal antibody capture.
MAGic™ SPRI HMW
MAGicSPRI HMW are high-magnetisation, super paramagnetic beads based on solid-phase reversible immobilisation (SPRI) technology. Optimised for nucleic acid cleanup and library preparation, they enable rapid DNA purification and precise fragment size selection – without centrifugation or column-based filtration.
The exceptional magnetic response of MAGicSPRI HMW enables faster bead resuspension and more efficient magnetic separation than standard SPRI beads, making them compatible with both manual protocols and automated liquid-handling platforms for high-throughput cleanup workflows.
MAGic™ Accio systems
MAGic™Accio systems are a series of magnetic separators, optimised for the use with our MAGic™Beads, ideal for a large variety of bioseparation applications. MAGic™Accio has been optimized for the easy and efficient capture of magnetic resins from crude sample mixtures at any scale. The systems can be easily operated in manual mode (LAB and PILOT) or with automation. Our separator system is based on a permanent magnet design allowing efficient scale up of the system compared to electromagnetic systems which are restricting the scale up. Our platform ensures rapid, gentle and effective magnetic separation with a small footprint.
